I am a location sound mixer and boom operator working predominately in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. However, I have worked across Canada.

I have a background in radio broadcasting, but I had always been interested in the process of film/television/video production and the large role sound production holds.

 

In 2016, I officially started Adrian Ancona Sound, doing location audio. Since then I have worked features, documentaries, corporate projects, television dramas, short films, webs series, commercials, etc.

In 2022 I joined IATSE 873 as a sound utility and boom operator.

I have worked for such brands as FX Networks, Discovery, Netflix, Paramount+, AppleTV+, Hallmark, Youtube Originals, Westjet, Nickelodeon, History, HGTV, Amazon Video, Quibi, International Olympic Committee, Tim Horton's, Forbes, McDonalds, INTEL, Tide, Downy, Invisalign, BHP, and Koodo.
